Based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, E-Blox was launched in 2016 by Art Seymour and his sons James and Joseph after more than 90+ years of combined experience as entrepreneurs, inventors, and designers in the educational toys and wireless industries.
E-Blox’s founders are now leading the way to a whole new generation of educational toys that give children of all ages the building blocks of a STREAM education–Science, Technology, Reading/wRiting, Engineering, the Arts, and Math–through the joy of play and discovery.
With E-Blox’s plug-together bricks and modules, kids can build literally dozens and dozens of toys and games that light up and make sounds. Entrepreneur, inventor, innovator, educator: Art Seymour brings a long list of accomplishments in business, the sciences, and education to E-Blox, an emerging leader in educational electronic toys for children.
Dr. James P. Seymour, Vice President & CTO
Work hard, and never give up. That simple advice from his father Art has guided Jim Seymour throughout his life. He’s gone from being a kid obsessed with solving word and math puzzles to an inventor and innovator in wireless technologies, with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and 16 patents (and five more pending) to his name to date.

Joe Seymour is the guy who knows how things run and gets things done. Directing the daily operations of E-Blox, from sales, communications and the customer experience to logistics and procurement, Joe ensures that E-Blox is grounded as a customer-service-driven business built on the bedrock values of family and faith.
