Why "Pink Gold"?
Not quite so very long ago, during the War of 1812, salt was used as a salary for soldiers pay when the government had little money. This salt was often referred to as "White Gold". In our case, we use Pink Himalayan Salt and thought the name Pink Gold to be perfect because this is truly an amazing, valuable bar of soap! It is definitely a strong exfoliating bar and some may find it a little scratchy at times, but we have found that many of our customers enjoy this type of exfoliation. It is great for rough patches of skin and many love it on a washcloth as a facial bar. This bar gives a completely different clean feeling than our other bars and quickly became a favorite in our family. We hope you like it as much as we do!
